Hello everyone, today I am going to do a reflection on the first half of the year 2018.
Studies
I have improved my strategies for studying to get better marks for my units using my experience from last year.
From last year, I knew that the major parts that I need to improve on to raise my marks are the way I study for exam and also my internal assignments.
Firstly, do not spend too much time reading texbooks unless it is really necessary. Lecture notes are often sufficient.
Secondly, when studying do no just read and understand, must also make sure that what being studied are well-remembered.
Thirdly, aware of which part should be focus on more. Avoid focusing too much on unimportant parts.
Fourthly, be aware of the exam formats and take the time to look at past year exam papers and go through he questions to get an idea of how the questions would be like.
Put more effort on assignments
One important tip is to go non-stop!
As for this year, another thing is learnt, which is, what and how you study at the last minute matters. It is important to decide what content to go through at the last minute.
Friends/networking/relationship
A few new friends that I knew from last year were brought forward to this year.
